RESEARCH INTERESTS

Lihua Wang’s research interests focus on computational methods for dynamic and nonlinear mechanics of materials and solids, simulations in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, and aerospace engineering. Her research activities include development of meshfree methods for materials modeling, large deformation, damage mechanics, dynamics of axially moving systems etc. She has published more than 70 journal papers, and has been invited to deliver lectures in several international and nationalconferences. Wang serves on the review for CMAME, Computational Mechanics, Acta Mechanica, ASCE Journal of Engineering Mechanics and Applied Mathematics and Mechanics etc.
